What is Mentiohunt?: Mentiohunt is an AI link-building agent for founder-led B2B SaaS teams. It finds websites where your content is a natural fit, checks if the fit is real, tracks down the right contact, and sends personalized outreach with automatic follow-ups, all the way through a prospect's first reply. After that, you take the conversation over yourself.
How does it work?: You give Mentiohunt your site or article URLs. It runs discovery every day to find sites where your content fits, digs up contact details, and schedules outreach on its own. Each opportunity comes with a plain-language reason it's a good fit, a suggested angle, and the expected SEO value, so you can keep an eye on the queue and cancel anything that isn't right.
Who replies once someone responds?: You do. Mentiohunt handles discovery, sending, and follow-ups right up until a prospect replies. The second someone responds, the automated sequence pauses and the thread moves into your own connected mailbox, so it reads like a real conversation between two people instead of a mass outreach inbox.
Can I control what gets sent?: There's no approval step before each email goes out. Outreach gets scheduled automatically as soon as a good-fit opportunity is discovered. What you can do is watch the queue: the target site, the fit reasoning, and the outreach draft are all visible, and you can cancel anything that isn't a fit before it sends.
How is this different from a link building agency?: It's more transparent and easier to steer. You can see the target site, the fit reasoning, and the outreach draft for every opportunity while Mentiohunt handles discovery and outreach automatically. Do you do guest posting?: Yes. Guest posts are one of the placement types we go after, along with resource pages, product roundups, and editorial listicles. Give us your article URLs and we'll match each one to sites where a guest post makes sense, then pitch it automatically. You can always cancel an opportunity that isn't a fit.
Are the emails actually personalized, or AI spam?: Every draft is written for that specific site, not pulled from a template. Mentiohunt uses AI to write the first draft, but it's grounded in the target's content, the placement angle, and the fit reasoning for that opportunity. You can see the draft before it goes out and cancel anything that reads generic.
Can my AI assistant read my Mentiohunt data?: Yes. Mentiohunt runs an MCP server that Claude, Claude Code, and Codex can connect to directly, so you're never locked out of your own pipeline. Once connected, you can ask things like "which prospects replied this week?" or "what's my reply rate this month?" and get an answer pulled from your live account. It's read-only, so nothing can be sent or changed through it, and there's a REST API too if you'd rather call it from your own scripts. It's available on the Pro and Agency plans, and you set it up from Settings → Agents.
What happens when my free trial ends?: You don't need a card to see your personalized opportunities. A card is only required once you decide to start automated outreach, which kicks off a 7-day trial at $0. After that, the Pro plan renews automatically at $49 a month unless you cancel from Billing before the trial ends. Cancel, and discovery and outreach pause, but your saved queue and replies stay put.
If someone replies after my trial ends, do I lose it?: No. Replies keep coming in and get saved even after your trial expires, waiting for you in the dashboard whenever you upgrade. If a prospect already replied and you need a bit more time to connect a mailbox and respond, sharing Mentiohunt publicly on X or LinkedIn gets you 7 extra trial days.
