Privacy Policy

When you create an account, join a waitlist, or use Mentiohunt, we may collect information such as your name, email address, billing details, workspace inputs, competitors, keywords, and other data you provide to run backlink prospecting workflows.

We also collect routine product and device information like log data, browser type, usage events, and approximate location so we can secure the service, understand usage, and improve reliability.

We use your information to operate Mentiohunt, generate opportunity queues, personalize discovery results, process payments, communicate product updates, and provide support.

We may also use aggregated or de-identified usage data to improve ranking quality, fix bugs, prevent abuse, and guide product decisions.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with service providers that help us host the product, process payments, analyze usage, send transactional messages, or support core operations, but only for those purposes.

We may disclose information if required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Mentiohunt, our users, or the public.

Our website uses these third-party tools: Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, Ahrefs Web Analytics, and PostHog to measure traffic and product usage; Microsoft Clarity to record anonymized sessions and heatmaps; Endorsely to credit affiliate referrals; and the Meta Pixel to measure visits that come from our Facebook ads and to show our ads to people who have visited the site.

After signup, the onboarding results page shows a walkthrough video hosted on YouTube. Its preview image loads from YouTube's servers, which see your IP address. The YouTube player itself only loads when you press play, through YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, which sets no cookies until then.

The Meta Pixel uses advanced matching. When you type your email address into a form on our site, the Pixel hashes it in your browser (turns it into a code that cannot be reversed) before sending it to Meta, which uses it to match the visit to a Facebook account for ad measurement.

You can block these tools with your browser's tracking protection or an ad blocker without affecting how Mentiohunt works. You can also control how Meta uses this data at facebook.com/adpreferences, and opt out of Google Analytics with Google's add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

If you connect an AI app such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Codex to your account, it can read the data listed on the approval screen: your products, target keywords and competitors, opportunities, email threads with prospects, tracked links, discovery runs, and outreach stats. Email threads can include the names and email addresses of the people you contacted.

It can only change anything if you tick the box allowing it when you connect. It can then reply to prospects from your connected mailbox, edit unsent emails, change targeting, and update opportunities.

Mentiohunt receives the requests the app makes to your account, not your conversations with it. What the app does with the data it reads is covered by its provider's own terms and privacy policy.

You can disconnect an app at any time in Settings → Agents → Connected apps, which ends its access immediately. Connections also expire after 30 days without use.

We keep your account data, including products, opportunities, and email threads, while your account is open. Outreach activity logs are deleted after 180 days and system logs after 30 days. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your personal information, unless we must keep it to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

You can request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information, subject to legal and operational limits. You can also opt out of non-essential marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in those messages.
